"I wanted to inform you about several issues we experienced during our stay. On one night, around 12:00 a.m., the air conditioning in our room (Room 12813) stopped working. I called the service desk immediately, but it took approximately one hour for someone to arrive. After that, it took another hour to repair the issue, and the A/C was finally working again around 2:30 a.m. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. Around 3:00 a.m. that same night, the water supply to the bathroom stopped completely, leaving us without running water. Despite these significant inconveniences, we did not receive even a simple apology, let alone any form of compensation for the disruption to our stay. The Expedia representative on-site was also not helpful. They remained in their office and only sent text messages, which did not resolve or assist with any of the issues we were facing. Additionally, while the resort offers several restaurants, we found the overall quality and taste of the food to be below average. Another major challenge was communication. Most of the staff spoke only Spanish, and although some attempted to communicate in English, it was often very difficult to understand them, making it challenging to get assistance when needed. Overall, we were disappointed with the level of service and support we received considering the issues we encountered throughout our stay."

"Beautiful and nice property, staff very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was the hotel double charged property fees and it took our entire trip to get a refund after they gave us the run around. There is a bit of a smell and the beach area doesn’t look like the photos. Lots of sand bars and sargassum. Also a bit far from Cancun, took about an hour each way to get to any excursion we did."

"We had a wonderful stay at Breathless Cancun! Overall, it's a beautiful resort. It's on the smaller side compared to some all-inclusive resorts, but we actually loved that because everything was easy to get to. The way the natural surroundings blended with the modern décor created a really relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a swim-out room and absolutely loved it! The staff throughout the resort were friendly and welcoming, the beach was beautiful, and the pools were great. We especially enjoyed the lunch buffet, and the Italian and steakhouse restaurant was one of our favorite dinner spots. We also treated ourselves to the spa, and it was the best money we spent! The individual bungalows were absolutely stunning, and the entire experience was relaxing, peaceful, and worth every penny. We visited during the World Cup quarterfinals, and the resort really went above and beyond for the Mexico game. The atmosphere was so much fun and made the experience even more memorable! The only thing we wished for was more nighttime entertainment. The shows they offered were excellent, especially the cabaret show, but we would have loved to see more options throughout the week. We had access to the Xhale Club, and I definitely recommend upgrading if you can. The drinks were great, and we really enjoyed the added perks. We also ordered room service several times, and every experience was fast and excellent. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and would definitely recommend Breathless Cancun."
