"Lava Lava is on site for all meals and is great.property is Quiet by ten every night except for the surf which is just a few steps past the restaurant. Small but very nice rooms with everything that’s needed. Parking is in short supply but they do have valet. Best staff I’ve ever encountered. So kind and helpful! "

"Friendly & responsive staff, strong Aloha spirit. However, the place is dated, ie still popcorn ceilings. Need pest control (roaches), asked us to take shoes off but floor carpet felt uncomfortably moist, couldn’t really decide the cleanness of carpet due to color, bathroom smells odd, slippery bathtub, low shower pressure. "What a beautiful hotel!! Their oceanfront rooms were unbelievable! The pool and beach was the best for our small toddler with close to no waves and chairs right on the sand or grass at the beach. We loved visiting dukes for dinner too, what a great restaurant with beautiful views! "

"I got a really nice Condominium (look’s like a house) doble floor, doble bedroom, doble bathroom and a nice view to the sea. You need to drive like 20 min far away to find a nice place to swing but it is an small island. Behind the hotel it is an amazing place to eat, the name is Kauai Boba & Barbecue( delicious and amazing people). "

"Loved the area and ocean view from our balcony and Lydgate park was an easy 5 minute walk. The grounds of kaha lani were well maintained and the breeze from the ocean was fantastic.
