"We enjoyed our very short stay here. The host was very kind, the beds were comfy and the shower hot. A bit noisy but that is to be expected. Is lies a bit on the outskirts of the city center which we did not mind since we had an early pick up for our tour."

Para os passeios com saída muito cedo , ela deixava nosso lanche/box pronto. Quarto espaçoso. Carmem emprestou o próprio secador de cabelos. Cumpria ordens , seguia protocolo. Houve um casal hospedado em outro quarto, reclamando que um homem entrou em seus aposentos durante a noite . Isso me surpreendeu e fiquei receosa ....

"Beautiful surroundings and facilities, conveniently located in a quiet street but not far from the main shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A lovely restaurant attached to the hotel. We would have welcomed a better early breakfast provision for guests leaving for early morning excursions."

"We didn't realize there were 2 properties under la casa de Don Tomas (check when booking!). We were dropped off at the original location based on the address we gave from Expedia but after speaking with reception at check-in were directed to their El Refugio location, which is the newer expansion and just a 3 minute walk from the original. The rooms were large and peaceful. Breakfast was included and excellent. Would stay here again!"

"Friendly staff - 1 struggle w English, other 2 very good. Guess Owner, old lady always there with smile, she can’t speak English. Free coffee and tea and water at reception through out the day. Check out 6.30am and simple take away breakfast (sandwich ham w cheese n drinks n snacks) ready."

"Basic and simple rooms. Well maintained and cleaned everyday (they cleaned the floors, so dust not an issue). The included breakfast is very simple and staff will cook you eggs if you want. Staff great and friendly. We went on a tour and were going to miss breakfast; they dropped a snack breakfast on our door."

"The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. When we checked in, they warmly introduced us to everything in the lodge and showed us the shared facilities. The pool area, courtyard, and both the outdoor and indoor decorations were very cozy and charming. At night, you can even take beautiful photos of the starry sky from the courtyard. "Easy walk to main shopping area where you’ll find great cafe, restaurants, tourist shops & tour companies. No need to pre book your tours. Supermarket across the road which was very handy. Clean room with comfortable beds. Small pool. Staff are very friendly and the cook makes a delicious cake served with a simple but nice breakfast. "

"The hotel is a very nice eco friendly hotel indeed with quite nice amenities. The hotel at times is hard to find given the roads that lead into it aren’t easy to navigate. The staff at times aren’t there at reception but overall quite a good stay indeed for the price and note that the area around the property has no shops so you have to ensure u have a car. The property also has cats and dogs on property which for animal lovers like us is really nice experience too interacting with them."
