"The top floor of the property, where I was forced to stay, had problems with water damage. There was a damp and mild Dewey smell throughout that was coming from the ventilation system. I was moved twice in experienced the same issue throughout. I was given the runaround by the front desk staff and lied to about being able to speak to the manager. "The hotel and rooms are great and reasonably priced.
The check-in process however was horrible. The front desk walked us to our room and when he went to open it there was male guest staying there. Apparently staff was supposed to move him to another room but he was unaware. They went back & forth for 5m until the staff finally found us another room 30m later. While they ended up upgrading us to a nice suite the entire process was frustrating especially at night when we just wanted to sleep. "
