Not an easy place to get around, and need to keep your wits about you for petty crime. You will stand out as a tourist!

The food was great in Quito and good restaurants at Quito Airport Centre just across the terminal above the car park. Never expected to pay such reasonable prices for food at airport terminals. There is also a 24 hour chemist to get SIM card .

Old town is great during the day, but didn’t really like it at night. Plaza Foch has lots of good places for the evening, but can be very quite on the surrounding streets so walking around in your own can feel unsettling.
