"The B&B was a really comfortable and pleasant experience. The best reception by the hosts. I was made to almost feel part of the family and would book again when I’m in the area. Only point that needs to be looked at is, on Hotels.com all rooms are on-suite but my room had a bathroom down the stairs, albeit a very nice bathroom. I booked on suite and expected on Suite. Apart from that it’s 10/10 from me. I would stay again. "

"The young receptionist/bar person (I didn’t get her name but she is slim with dark hair and a tattoo on her upper body) was extremely accommodating and so helpful. I had a lot of work to do in my room but needed to have a meal. I asked if I could eat my meal in my room, so ordered it and began to wait. "After returning to the area after 16 years, we chose this hotel for the personal touch over other chain options. The hotel's staff was amazing and accomodating. "This was my third stay at The Angel....love the hotel and the position is great. With the free parking and being in centre of town it is perfect. Love the shops nearby too but a special shout out goes to Steve the incredible cheerful concierge who went out of his way to help and seemed to be juggling several things at once incredibly effectively. It was a Bank Holiday weekend and so the hotel was very busy."

"We booked in so that we could attend the Theatre Royal, which is close by. We wondered whether the parking would be adequate, and it was. We had lunch on arrival. My wife ordered chicken kiev but the dish was really chicken escalopes, but still nice. We liked our room. Temperature control via radiator valves. Very comfortable and clean. The bathroom equipment looked brand new."

"The flat is clean and compact, located in a Mews. Very close to the Railway station - less than 10mins walk. Parking is free for initial 30min outside the gate - to unload. The Host provided permit for the weekend. The area also gives free parking, daily from 4:00pm until 10:00am the next day. It is also a 10minutes walk from the flat to the beautiful Town Centre of Bury St Edmunds "
