"We loved our stay. The pool, sauna, and steam rooms are superb. The staff is incredibly warm and helpful. Our only confusion was how to notify about having the room refreshed/done up. There is a door knob hanger that says “Please refresh our room” on one side and on the other, a notification if you need assistance because you are disabled. Our understanding of this was that if you do not put out that notice that the room doesn’t get done up, and we were fine with that. Yet our room was cleaned....

"Thank you to Sabrina the duty manager for responding to the issues we experienced positively and for taking ownership of them. She was a credit to the hotel, worked hard and clearly cared about the guest experience. Sabrina was also thoughtful as she knows the other issues we experienced (nothing to do with the hotel) following a recent visit to Mexico.

"The room I stayed in was difficult to get from the main entrance. Umderstand the building is old however . Route was not well sign posted .
I was then charged £10 to use the swimming pool .
This was not clear at time of booking."

"Check in very slow and after travelling 3 hours with elderly disabled parents, our room was not ready, which is understandable. But the only offer to get changed for a wedding was in the changing rooms a flight of stairs down or the toilets! The girl on reception was adamant there wasn’t any other option available and was very unconcerned of the needs for my disabled mother. "The property is simply stunning! I have been to the Cotswolds many times over the years however this was a first for my partner who found the area breathtaking. The highlight of her few days here was the hotel. Every aspect of the hotel was faultless and will certainly return for a longer stay."
