"Genuinely superb. Beautiful house and room. Views from lounge are wonderful. Everything was clean, immaculate and of very high quality. Breakfast was above and beyond! Bharat and Anne are very friendly and helpful and great hosts too. I have never stayed in a better B&B (or possibly hotel as well!). Very highly recommended. "Mani was an excellent host, very professional and passionate about the property. We stay in the annex rooms as visit a wedding near by. Room was modern, clean and beds very comfortable. Felt very spoilt as such a personal feel to the venue. Would defiantly return if going back to the area. Am also thinking about organising a stay in the middle not house for our local football team tour for boys. Thank you mani, we really appreciate your hospitality. Many thanks Claire and Lee x"

"Booked and confirmed via email . Got there at night and the hotel was closed . When calling the only number available the message says “ closed since November 2025 due to flooding “ . Our booking was online in January 2026 so they knew this already and still accepted the reservation . £200 out the window and had to drive to Abergavenny to look for accommodation late at night …"

"Google Maps took me to an adjacent road, Common Road, which I drove up looking for the guest house. I asked a gardener who said they thought it might be next door. I drove back onto the main road and saw a small lane on the right and a sign propped against the wall showing Church Farm guest house. There was no sign for anyone coming from Abergavenny, like me. There were 2 front doors and I rang the wrong bell as there was no sign. We were told there was a dining room and when we came down for breakfast selected the one that didnt say Staff only. There was no dining room sign. Otherwise it was a lovely, quiet 2 night stay and Derek and Rosey were very kind and knowledgeable. The room was up 2 flights of narrow stairs. Fine for fit visitors. "
