"We stayed two nights at the Tapa Agung View Hotel. They welcomed us with fresh drinks and towels. The view of the hotel is unbelievable. You feel in the middle of the jungle. In comparison to Ubud, the area is more quit which we enjoyed. The buffet in the morning is a bit limited. The rooms are very clean and the bed is more than comfortable. "
"Very nice, clean resort in a quiet area, still easy walk to a choice of restaurants and shops. Unique pool area with deck chairs on sand around the pool with ocean views. Good buffet breakfast in dining area. Only small faults is hot water pressure in showers and beach in front of resort not ideal for swimming due to shallow water and currents. Otherwise perfect stay!!"
"Amazing location, the views are incredible, rooms and those bathrooms breathtaking. Great service good value, staff are very attentive with the buggies to get up the hill- we had 2 x 70 year olds with us on a 3 generation holiday. Great location to walk into town or the other way to Lago beach to swim out to the pontoon or go to the swanky spa next door. "Remote, peaceful and idyllic. With excellent cocktails, dinner and service. We did the cooking class with the head chef, first he took us to explore the impressive local market, before cooking in an outdoor hut in an organic garden in the foothills. Devine."

The only negative was the dining choices. One restaurant which food was good but would have preferred some more casual snack items. This was also quite expensive.
Most days or evenings we got in a taxi and went to independent restaurants of which there are loads around. This was a great why to get out and see places and try new restaurants.

"It is our second time staying at The Purist. My kids and I came last year and had to return on our trip this year. It is the only property we decided to repeat because 1. We loved the spacious size of the rooms (last year we had Bamboo Villa and this year we had a Jungle Villa). 2. We love the breakfast but most of all 3. The staff is so kind and welcoming. Huge huge fans of this hotel. Recommend to all. "
