"My cousin & I chose this hotel as a base camp for hiking on Terceira because of its close location to Monte Brasil, the harbour & lots of restaurants. All the staff were very kind, thoughtful & helpful. We were checked in by Fluberto, who gave us good advice for our 1st hike & Lisandra connected us with an amazing taxi driver (Vasco) who was bilingual, and assisted us with our late check out request. "Everything was updated and clean in great location. Can walk to everything in town. Parking is on the street but on the side street found enough. Breakfast was nice with a lot of choices. They provided heaters if you need it. Very friendly and would stay again."

"Overall, I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean. The staff were very, very, friendly and helpful. While the hotel room was very clean, the bathrooms are quite outdated. I would recommend some remodeling at some point as it appears that the actual bedrooms may have been remodeled but the bathrooms are still outdated. "
