In 1211 the Livonian Bishop Albert of Riga ordered to build this cathedral near the River Daugava. It is considered the largest medieval🛡️ church⛪ in the Baltic States. It is Anglican church⛪, located in the north of the old town centre. The foundation stone was laid in 1857 and the church⛪ was dedicated on 26 July 1859. During the Soviet occupation the church had not use, and in 1973 it became the home of Riga Polytechnic Institute student club👨‍👨‍👧‍👧. In 1991, after latvian independence, and English-speaking congregation🛐 was again formed. 🏛️Riga City Council Tower (Latvian: Rīgas Dome). Greatest advantage of this accomodations is that is located close to bus, train station and central market. Room was clean, comfy and personal was nice and helpful. Everything was OK and there is not much can be said about any negatives, maybe that some guests are little bit noisy.
