"The staff are genuinely friendly, parking is easy, and the location offers quick access from the highway. It’s also perfectly situated near plenty of eateries and conveniences, which makes the overall experience even better."
"We stayed for one night at Skyland in the Shenandoah National Park on a recent visit to Virginia. We booked a ‘Traditional Room with 2 Queen beds’. The room was lodge style with a small terrace. Check-in was easy and we were able to park outside our room. The amenities and the room are basic and ‘tired’, but as expected. The beds were comfortable but the quality of the bedding was best described as ‘old’. The room had a musty smell but appeared clean. Although there was wifi it wasn’t really usable. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was reasonably priced.
The hotel, although basic and not cheap, is in a great location. We enjoyed walking the Stony Man route to watch a beautiful sunset and then hiking a few other routes to enjoy the beauty of the National Park.

"We had booked a king size bed but the first room she put us into was a handicap room. We didn't want a handicap room. The second room was located that all you heard was highway noise. Even though the hotel was not even one third full, she would not put us in another room. Said these were the four rooms allotted to hotel.com and she couldn't change us into another. room. We finally went to the handicap room buttery upset. The next day upon check out the manager apologized for the girl not accommodating us. Said he would train her better. BEWARE"
"Staff was not friendly. Breakfast crew added tips on their own that too 20% which was ridiculous. Pool was non operational.
Overall didn't had great experience. Photos on Expedia are illusions"
