"There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."

"The property was very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Just a couple of observations . If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . It would be great value & a positive accolade for a simple continental breakfast to be included in the nightly rate instead of...

Generally, this hotel holds so much promise, but one cannot but notice the subtle traces of neglect and an encroachment of disrepair-from reception, to hallways, to the room and bathroom. In all, a fair stay, that could very easily be so much better with a little more attention to detail. The staff were very helpful."
