"Breakfast good choice, poached eggs overdone and staff cheerful. Paper thin walls mean you hear every small noise so not great. Lovely grounds to walk in and the nearby Rock Inn pub well worth a visit."

"Bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean. The metal steps/fire escape very steep if you have mobility issues its not good. The bath tub is quite high to get in and out of. The floor in the bathroom gets very wet when you have a shower so gets slippery. Didnt see any staff but was given a number to contact if there was any issues. "

"There was no breakfast available even though it was part of the deal and no chef to cook a dinner. In view of the lack of food I checked out and went elsewhere. The Globe staff were very friendly and understanding and told me to contact you for a refund which I am doing."

"The place is OK as a base which we used it for whilst we were in the area. The food was nice with the added beneit of a Gluten free menu and they do have separate prep areas for food. Rooms nice, although a little dated and some need a little attention in places. Reasonably priced for both food and drink, service can be a little slow at times. Bar area gets busy we tended to sit in the restaurant area as it was more quieter. Breakfasts tasty, good selection of food and hot food if you want it too. Outside is a little tired and garden could do with a bit of attention - overal was an OK stay. "
