"We've stayed here three times since 2003. This is a very nice all-inclusive resort, with a variety of activies for all ages. The food in the main buffet was very good. (It's challenging preparing food on a mass scale that appeals to everyone, and I think they do an excellent job.) In addition to the buffet, there are smaller "specialty" restaurants. These are better suited to couples and families with older children, I think. There is a small beach that is netted off from the ocean. This proved to be a major advantage on this occassion because just about every other beach in the Cancun area was blanketed with sargassum. There are three large swimming pools. (One change we noted on this trip is that the pools are now saltwater. In the past, they were freshwater.) One other change is that they DO have WiFi in the rooms. The description that Expedia provides is not correct. And if you are willing to spend 30-45 minutes listening to a sales pitch for a time share on the property, they'll give you a discount on some local attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this place."
"I loved all the restaurants I ate at four of them. Had a massage, booked excursions in the lobby area, was able to exchange my US currency to pesos in the lobby. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet, swim up pool bar and loved the natural setting. The staff was helpful and friendly"
"The property had excellent foods loves by picky children. The highlight was the kids club. The staff there do an excellent job and my kid always wants to go to the kids club."
"The rooms were clean and the place is lovely wouldn’t recommend if you are black the staff aren’t going to be as attentive to your needs as other races. The entertainment there is also very hard to find so keep that in mind. Perfect place if you are not looking to get off the resort."
"The service was amazing; however most restaurants were closed and the beaches were covered in mounds of seaweed. As such, we couldn’t enjoy the beaches or the ocean. Some of this was seasonal, but we were never notified of the limitations and reduced amenities. We couldn’t even book many of the excursions due to the seaweed and oceans. Additionally, several areas and amenities were under construction with no notification."
"The waterpark is not always open during operating hours be aware. Some of the restaurants are closed unexpectedly. I got hit in the head by a hawk that the staff was using outside to keep away other birds real fun there."
