"User friendly, it had a good social feel and comfortable bar area. Bedroom/bed were huge and comfortable. Food was very enjoyable in the evening but breakfast was a bit of a disaster."

"It was pretty good overall. No light switch near the bed, the duvet was too heavy. I didn't like not having a key and it was a nuisance having to keep a note of codes and having to type them in every time you entered. Also, I didn't like receiving the codes at the last minute. But these are all minor points, overall it was good."

"I paid £40 for a double room for the night which I thought was a great deal. The room was clean and check in and out was easy and quick. I didn’t have breakfast and there was lots of on-site parking. The place is a bit dated but for the price I paid, I was very happy."

"Only stayed one night to go to a concert. Said check in from 3pm but when I arrived at 4pm room was not ready. No air-conditioning in room but it was big & beds looked clean but whole place is in need of decorating. Lift was out if order. Kettle in room but only two mugs for three people. Had to ask a couple of times to get an extra mug. Did not use bath or shower over bath as didn't look clean. Towels are provided but no toiletries. "Swimming pool ok but shallow end was very shallow. Steak room was excellent size and temp, larger than most."

"Free parking, buffet breakfast and clean rooms. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Only down side was that the drinks are expensive but you expect that."
