"Lovely decor in reception and communal areas. Room was just what we needed. Spacious for a family of 4 sharing. Pool facilities were great. Breakfast was good quality, plenty of choice. Staff were very friendly and professional."

"I was 10 minutes away from the hotel when a staff member called me to say that you were overbooked, so the room I had booked more than 3 weeks previously, was no longer available. I was offered a room in a manor house nearby. But that had no reception, and no restaurant. Without any hotel staff at that property, it did not feel safe for a lone traveller. "Super Staff, friendly, helpful and were interested in why we were staying. Last September I ruptured my Achilles Tendon, this is still causing problems and the young lady on Reception - who also had a problem with a broken arm - was extremely helpful and we had a discussion with regards to how life is very difficult with limbs that are damaged! Lovely room - although the shape led to an odd small window and a large wall that gave the impression a window had been removed! We had a lovely time...

"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....
