"Very nice property with many period features (it was a railway station originally). Staff were friendly and helpful. We know the fire alarm system works as it went off at 11.30PM (fortunately set off by steam from a shower not a fire). Only observation was that the breakfast seemed expensive didn't find out the quality as we went elsewhere."

"Really lovely stay at the hotel. Family of 5, with 3 children 5 and under and we felt very welcome. Perfect for a visit to Peppa Pig only 10 mins away. The staff were great. Really welcoming and no issue with the noise that children bring. Dinner was lovely. Although pub grub it was really tasty. Family room was very big. Although a little tired looking was absolutely fine for our stay. Would definitly recommend and would stay again. Only downside. The outside area would really benefit...

"Everything very smooth. Polite friendly staff. Room lovely, excellent pillows. Everything u need in a room. Ironing board, iron, fridge even a dyson air blower. Plus the usual everyday requirements. The convenience of having a restaurant all in one was great after a long journey. Breakfast very tasty and served on piping hot plates always a plus in my book. Would find it hard to deduct any marks from this venue. Definitely would recommended. "
