"Was great"

"The room was clean and comfortable. House keeping were so nice especially Suzanne. Reception was terrible, don’t have the basic of hospitality and how to be welcoming or of help with situations. In general, if you want to be around old down town and see the real Alexnadria, you can benefit from the location but rather than that, it is not the best place to enjoy a good, comfy and quiet stay. "

"Our suite wasn’t cleaned once during our stay, only once did someone try and we told them to come back but they didn’t.So no towels no water replenished.Also no breakfast included in our booking which was a surprise to us."

"The sea view is super fantastic! Location is very convenient in center Alexandria where all important places are within a walking distance or a short ride. Staff are very friendly and respectful. Street noise is a little loud. Overall, Highly recommended hotel. I gave some recommendations to the management team regarding the property to take care off and they promised to do. "

"This was, by far, our favourite hotel during our three week visit to Egypt. From arrival to departure the staff at Sunrise Alex Avenue were welcoming, attentive, and friendly. The property is perfectly located in the middle of the Alexandria Corniche with a sprawling seafront expanse. The location is unbeatable if you love having everything at your fingertips; being right inside the Green Plaza Mall means you have hundreds of shops, a cinema, and endless restaurants just steps from your room.  The service was top-notch—the staff were professional and made check-in a breeze. "Needs some attention & money spent on this hotel to live up to expectations. Staff were excellent but the hotel is clearly badly managed. Breakfast was not efficient, partly due to unusually high volume of people. The ‘ manager ‘ strutted around watching the wait staff struggle . 1 poor man trying to cook eggs for way too many people. "Staff hardly spoke English. Room was spacious and clean. The bathroom needed some upgrade. The shower had molds. The curtain had mold. The mirrors were very old to the point of faded away. No breakfast. No lobby. Check in area is like someone’s living room. Many pictures on hotels.com are misleading. But the location was good. Walkable to catacomb, coniche the citadel, st mark’s and Roman theater. "
