Excellent hosts. Bed very comfy.
Excellent breakfast. Let down by poor lighting and signposting at entrance and so difficult to find way in in the dark on busy road
I can thoroughly recommend a stay at Lea House. Really easy to find and quiet even though on the A40, good parking, very welcoming and knowledgeable owners, lovely room with a view of the beautiful garden and to top it all an amazing breakfast cooked to order. Would definitely book here again.
Really charming venue hosted by a lovely couple. Cracking value for money with the breakfast included (and good variety of options). Opposite handy village shop too. Would definitely return.
We booked this at short notice on Expedia and the hosts were very accommodating. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable bed and lovely shower. The breakfast was outstanding, as was the pub down the road for dinner,Penny Farthing. Only one comment the advert states more than once it has laundry facilities, however we’re advises there was none, so will seek out a laundromat at our next stop, however it was a selling point as we have been travelling for 6 weeks and over laundromats.
Absolutely loved staying here. A great welcome from the owner and a tour of the room and house. Great dinner option provided via a local takeaway and was given a plate and cutlery on arrival to use. Guest lounge is lovely and comfortable. My room was cozy, lovely tea and coffee making facilities. It is an old place so you will squeak on the floorboards now and again. Bathroom was spacious with some nice touches. Breakfast was plentiful, I could go through the rest of the day not having to eat anything else. Parking onsite involves some planning but the owners were really helpful in opening/closing the gate and directing me in and out. The venue is next to an A road but had no problems with the traffic going past as it was the weekend. I would stay here again
Beautiful cottage with really lovely hosts. They couldn't have been nicer, and so welcoming, and happy for us to come and go as we pleased during our stay. The best part about our stay was the breakfast! Honey yoghurt with granola and fruit, full English or smashed avocado, was beautiful and set us upfor the day ❤️
Very nice B&B with Sophie and Andy being excellent hosts. Would recommend.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
No frills
Very basic no frills B&B bed.
Bed was large & very comfortable.
powerful electric shower but very loud.
lots of road noise from 7am.
Breakfast was plentiful & filling
Lots of bric-a-brac & knitted bunting in dining area ( not my kind of decor)
Weather was beautiful during stay & we sat outside in the garden with a glass of wine one evening before we went out for dinner, but table chairs dirty, no cushions & concrete patio area also very untidy & dirty
Nicely renovated property. Bed very comfortable.
Fantastic breakfast, nicely presented.
Hosts very friendly and welcoming
Parking a bit tight for the last guest arriving but that’s a minor point.
Very welcoming hosts Alan & Sophie who couldn't do enough for us. Very comfortable house. We stayed in the 'Cider Room' which was very large. The only thing to be aware of is that it is near the main road so there is some traffic noise. Great breakfast, lots of choice. Try the homemade granola it is delicious. Located next to a local pub and a good little curry house . 10 minutes drive into town.
Andy and Sophie were very welcoming and helped us with our planning. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of extras. The bed was very comfortable but the Cider Room has morning traffic noise. The crown inn next door serves excellent Indian cuisine
We were only there for 1night but what a fabulous b and b, our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, our room was beautiful and the breakfast was plentiful, although this b and b is on a road please do not let that put you off staying here as it is very quiet at night, we had dinner in the pub next door, the decor is dated but the Indian food is superb, we would highly recommend.
We were only at Least House for one night but it was great, full of character and very comfortable. Andy and Sophie were really helpful, and the breakfast was brilliant, local produce and homemade bread, jams, muesli and granola with fresh fruit. Hope to be back soon!
