We must mention the lady looking after the place for the owners - sorry that I have forgotten her name - she was super friendly and showed us the skittle alley and talked about the darts teams and the social activities they have planned. Would definitely stay here again when next in the area."

"This hotel was really competitively priced so it was a no brainer. However we didn’t expect it to be as nice as it was. The grounds around the hotel are lovely, the planting of roses everywhere was very dramatic. Our four poster bedroom was very comfortable. The floorboards are very creaky but that’s a small price to pay. We had breakfast and an evening meal in the restaurant chilli’s, and I couldn’t recommend this enough, the Mexican evening meal was exceptional. Would return in a heartbeat!"
