"We were here during April. The weather was too cold for the pool. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was excellent. The views cannot be bested. We had a great time. The resort has wine and oil to taste, there are also many other vineyards nearby to sample. The resort is also less than an hour from Florence."

"Really cute old hotel about 20 minute walk from city center and the main sights. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful! Our room was so beautiful and vintage and classic Italian! However the cleanliness could have been better. There were some ants in the bathroom and lots of dust on the fixtures. A bit of mold/hard water build up in a few places in the bathroom too. Not terrible, and it’s a good place to stay for a short visit"

"I cannot say enough about this hotel...it is one of my best memories of Florence. From the beautiful garden/terrace to the wonderful staff it was amazing. Location is a bit out of the busy touristy area but close enough to walk to see many things. We loved to join fellow guests in the garden for wine in the evening or good coffee in the morning ( self serve coffee 24 hours which I loved as we are early risers). "The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken.
