"We found the Tap House to be a disappointing stay, full of contradictions. The checkin was easy and the staff friendly. We stayed in a two bedroom unit, which has a sitting area and kitchen. The room was nice but tired with dirty doors and some broken/missing fixtures (door return hanging off, cable trunking missing capping). "On arrival, we were shown to the "penthouse", a twin room on the third floor. The large bedroom light worked, but none of the smaller, bedside lights worked, so not great at night - totally or all nothing. Floor-space in the room was significantly compromised by a dismantled wooden bed-frame cluttering up the room. "I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore. The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails. We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them. The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm."

"Achtung, wir konnten unser Elektroauto laden, allerdings wurden uns am Ende 0,75£ / kw/h verrechnet! Das ist natürlich viel zu viel für eine Wallbox. Zugegebenermaßen haben wir im Vorfeld nicht nach dem Preis gefragt, wir haben mit so einem Wucher aber auch einfach nicht gerechnet. Daher ein Stern Abzug.
