"Disappointing that room service had a hidden "tray charge" not detailed on the menu or room welcome letter. This was the only standout difference to other similar quality hotel brands where this is not a charge (or at least quoted on menu prices). Other than this, was a great stay. "

"The staff in the bar and at check in were super friendly and helpful. The room was really lovely. Roomy, comfortable, good size tv and large en-suite bathroom. Quiet, warm and lovely biscuits in the room. Best of all the mattress was soooooo comfortable. We had lunch in the bar which was yummy too. Would highly recommend staying and eating at The Tawny Owl. "It was a lovely stay at this apartment. The unit is spacious, well equipped and clean. You have everything you need which is absolutely wonderful. Very convenient location with just 5-min walk to the nearby shopping centre. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and efficient. The process was smooth and the communication with their staff was very good. I received prompt replies from them and they were very helpful in terms of following up my inquiries and problems. Their staff are nice...

"Ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel. Malheureusement, Swindon n'est ni très jolie ni très sympa à visiter (je fréquente cette ville depuis 35 ans car j'ai de la famille ici). Le centre-ville où se trouve l'hôtel est hélas en chute libre avec beaucoup de magasins fermés depuis 10 ans."

"Good communication prior to the stay and accommodation clean and presented nicely. Howver it was tiny and not like the pictures. No space at all outside, conservatory was too hot to sit in which was the only area with seats. The bed had no room to get out either side. Not as advertised"
