"This hotel is in serious need of an extensive make-over. The car park is difficult to access via an overgrown, narrow drive that is also overgrown. Kerbside appeal is poor and the entrance appears to be propped up by scaffolding! Disabled access is non-existent and not sure how the hotel managed to meet local authority safety requirements. "Nothing much to see really its a Victorian building with lots of rooms. The shower was just a trickle. Didn't get a good night's sleep as the washing machine was on all night. And traffic noise. Ok for one night i suppose."

"I didnt get the room that was shown in the pictures, a rather plain room instead. Maybe that room in the pictures was for display purposes only. The smart tv and the check-in staff are excellent though, probably the only two things to complement about the stay. Need a cleaner toilet and more hooks around the room."

"Free parking but you need to book your car in on a screen at the bar. Not an easy or simple check in when the bar is open. Lovely and helpful cleaning staff when the bar was closed (in the morning)."

"I need a review for Hotel Football. It's easy to find, minutes from the tram stop. Check in was quick and easy. The room was super clean with a modern feel. Vimto in the fridge was the best surprise ever. Really enjoyed our stay. I did leave some items in the wardrobe which I realised on the train home. "There is absolutely NO wifi and NO cell service in these rooms. The only place we could get a singular bar was in the corner of the bathroom. This massively hurt me when checking in/getting updates about my flight. The front desk just shrugged when I told them. No help at all. The toilet seat was also broken and nearly falling right off. The only benefit was it was a good sized room. Wouldn’t stay here again, though."

"The location, the friendly staff, the amenities (gym and restaurant) were all above my expectation. The purpose of my visit was a trip to Old Trafford (the cricket ground) but it’s very accessible to both the football and the cricket ground respectively. Ample car parking too but I got there via public transport, also very convenient."
