"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. "Great hotel to spend a few nights but not really suitable to stay for a week as rooms are quite small and lack a fridge. Bed and pillows are very comfortable and noise from other rooms minimal. Great breakfast with an excellent choice of fresh produce, pastries and nuts/dried fruit. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to requests. All areas within the hotel are clean and well maintained. The hotel serves food at night (hot and cold buffet) and there are a few other places to eat nearby. The location is quiet as it is on the outskirts of Cahors. It is about a 30 minute walk to the centre via a path next to the road or through the retail park on the other side of the river."

"On my first evening there to check in, I was given an entry code with instructions on how to self check in. The steps provided were exactly as explained to me on the phone. I would have prefered if someone were there to greet me but at least I had access. At the hotel I stayed at before Naad Hotel, was in Arles and the front desk personnel over there kindly allowed me to use his phone to reach Hotel Naad. He knew that I was in a quandry, and helped me. When I entered my room, it was a bit cramped and the dark colors of the room did not help. The interior lights had awkward placing so that was not that convenient. The bedside light fixtures reminded me of extendable desk lamps that engineers use. The town of Sarlat la Caneda itself is very charming and lovely, so that helped."

"Nice new room . A bit of information left out is location and street parking. The hotel is also under construction and hallways are not finished.restaurant not opened which I was planning on eating stand none in walking distance. No amenities in room for washing hair, just body soap."
