The hotel was great, very clean. The staff super attentive and friendly from from the lady who cleaned our room Olga to everyone at the reception and the dinning/breakfast personal. Stayed here for the second time and loved every minute of it. This time I picked the half board that included both breakfast and dinner buffets and would highly recommend this option. The buffet food changed every day and was better than most restaurants outside. Staff treated us amazing.

60 th birthday celebration

I was with a party of 25 people. We did enjoy our stay . The staff The property the area everything was great. But it would have been nicer if we had more entertainment at night in the hotel. Overall it was a pleasure to stay in the Sol Barbacán.

The bungalows were spacious inside and well equipped. The pools, other amenities and activities offered were beyond what I expected. I did not get to have dinner here but the breakfast buffet was extraordinary and offered many options. The only thing I did not like about this hotel is having to take stairs down to cross the lobby and then back up to the bungalows and all the ground level areas. I find this a design flaw and difficult to walk in and out of the hotel, specially for senior guests. The only ground-level option was to go through the restaurant and the in-out walkthrough seemed unpleasant.

Gute Unterkunft mit kostenlosen Parkplätzen (10 EUR Pfand für Parkschlüssel), Themenpools und gutem Frühstück. Die Zeitfenster für den Austausch der Poolhandtücher sind nicht kundenfreundlich bzw. flexibel. Der Safe ist leider nicht kostenlos. "Bitte nicht stören"-Schild wurde mehrfach missachtet.

Zimmer in Ordnung. Unser Zimmer war in der Nähe vom Hotel-Restaurant. Jeden Tag gab es Musik, Band, Schreien (sing too loud), alles möglich, (nur einmal die Sänger war gut) bis 1Uhr schlimmsten Fall.. Die Leute sind nett. Bett making und Zimmer Putzen jeden Tag. Bei Frühstück ab und zu sehr schlechte Qualität Obst und Gemüse. Parkplatz vorhanden aber sehr eng, einmal jemand hat unseres Auto gekratzt... Einkaufen, Restaurants are in der Nähe.. Schwimmbäder sind gut. Aqua gym auch gut.

Be aware of the noise level at night

The apartment itself is nicely furnished and has a decent layout. But it all comes down to the location you get within the complex. My front door was just above the Restaurant El Portalon which made my apartment super noisy. Even being on the third floor didn't help as they have live music every night. During the live music show you can't really use the apartment - it's just way too LOUD! Having a chat with your friends is already a challenge, making a phone call or watching TV is literally impossible. The music they play after the live show is also pretty loud and at some nights they didn't turn it down before 2 am. I wouldn't book at this hotel again unless I'm sure I'll be out having dinner & drinks every night of my stay. Although the apartment itself is really nice, the chances of getting a room on the wrong side of the building are just too much of a risk.
