"Lot of trash around my bathroom was filthy I had to clean it the tub was really bad I went and purchased bathroom cleaner and made it nice I was there four days they never cleaned or even came to my room i had to chase down the Housekeeping to get toilet paper just a real crappie place to stay but cheap live and learn"

"Staff was friendly. The room wasn't very clean. There was a thick hair on a pillow and a hair ball on the bathroom floor. Other than that, the hotel was welcoming."

"What a strange hotel. I had to book a last minute trip for Memorial Day weekend Thu-Sun. So this was pretty much the last place with rooms. And for somewhere I was only sleeping in, I guess it was ok? The room was fairly clean, I think the cleaners are doing an ok job with what they have to work with. The room and building are very shabby and run down. The seams and around the taps in the bathroom were caked with mould and rust and poorly put together. The towels and pillow cases were old and stained, I’m guessing they don’t use bleach. The bed wasn’t comfortable in my opinion. There was no housekeeping during my stay. I was ok with that as there seemed to be no limit on people just wandering around the very open building. There was an old office chair outside my room where a man who looked like he might have been a member of staff was often sat smoking. The smoke came under the gap in my door. Walls, doors and the floor were all paper thin. I could hear everything happening throughout the night. Check in and out was quick and efficient. I didn’t try the included breakfast. The location is ok. An easy 10min drive to downtown Monterey and the shopping plaza at Marina. The nearby beach and dunes are nice enough. As a single female traveler I didn’t feel particularly secure staying there. It was not good value for money."

"The hotel is in a quiet area and the grounds are really nice. They have grape vines planted around the property and olive trees in the courtyard. The room was nice - we loved the old hacienda feel of the furnishings. Kathy at the front desk was very welcoming. The only real downside was the breakfast. The first morning there were bagels but they were wrapped in plastic and not labeled so you couldn't tell what flavor they were. There were no bagels the next two mornings. The pancake maker is cute but the pancakes are tiny. We ended up eating waffles because they are good sized. The egg patties were ok but the breakfast potatoes were delicious - I definitely recommend them! Overall we enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay here again if we're in the area."

"Amenities, clean, fun for families. we will be returning. beautiful place for families, rooms are super spacious the views are extremely beautiful We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa 2 baths and 1/2 bedroom Restaurant was really good 10 out of 10 Shuttle to the beach u can walk but the shuttle was fun shout out to Ben! Staff was awesome. Full kitchen lots of parking and safe anything we needed they would be their with in 5 min towels maintenance anything I truly do recommend"

"Property well maintained, staff very nice, had dinner in the on site restaurant, it was better then expected, the Koi pond is just lovely. My complaint, a chair in the room would be a good idea not everyone wants to read in bed, and no microwave really you get one at a Motel 6. Other wise yes I would stay there again."
