"The owner, Jordi, and his staff went out of their way to help me. He gave me a ride from the train station to his nearby restaurant, where I had a fantastic dinner. Then he dropped me off at the hotel. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The front desk attendant was kind enough to drive me to the bus stop for my journey to Barcelona. On the morning of our trip, we left by car at 8:20 am and got to the railway station platform by 8:28 for an 8:30 departure— yes literally 8 minutes which even included time to park and purchase tickets for the cogwheel train up to the monastery.
