"The place is clean & the price is decent for the area. Rooms are also generously sized. But they have a lot to accomplish in terms of upkeep in the rooms. It’s not just dated - the first room we got reeked of pee & mold - & the second smelled only slightly better. The room we wound up staying in badly needed to be renovated. "Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and patient with my wife and I. We had some special needs that were essential for our stay and they were all pleasantly taken care of. Our room was very clean and met and exceeded our requests for our stay in SF. I would consider staying there again for sure. I should note that we are not "city" folks so, this was a big relief for us to be so well looked after and communicated with. Thank each and everyone of you."

"Very nice, but dated hotel in the absolute center of San Francisco. All the staff was lovely and helpful. Wonderful breakfast with healthy options. Comfortable bed. The room was very cold when I arrived, but I could set temp. However the bathroom like most American hotels did not have heating, so very cold. Had everything I needed. Would stay again. Good value for the money compared to SFs other hotels I have tried."
