"The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...

"This was exactly what I needed to travel with a friend to see the Trolls! We drove up, spent the night, went to the Trolls exhibit at the Wild center and drove home from there. The check in process was very easy, keyless entry a plus, and quick response when calling for a restaurant recommendation. The location was very close to the Wild Center and other amenities in town. It was clean, nicely appointed, and exactly what we needed! I loved the mini fridge and coffee station - I imagine it would be really helpful with a longer stay. Would stay here again and highly recommend!"

"Our stay in the resort's Waterfront collection was great! The Junior suite was literally on the water with beautiful views. It's a large room with gas fireplace, jetted tub, separate shower, dual sinks and a comfortable king bed. Nearby Black Bear restaurant on Main St. was a favorite, with only a two minute walk for great food. We didn't have the chance to use their kayaks or paddleboats, but did take advantage of the hot tub and indoor pool in the Lake House for post-hikes recovery. This was the one area clearly in need of renovation. Overall, the High Peaks Resort's Waterfront collection is now one of our top choices to stay in Lake Placid."

"I booked the Premium Queen Suite with balcony and was surprised at how spacious it was. Complete kitchen, separate bedroom with comfortable queen bed, and sunny morning balcony. The staff was friendly, the room and property were clean, and a "grab-n-go" breakfast was available adjacent to the lobby. The Devlin has an interesting Olympic history. The location is great, walking distance to everything. I thought it was a great value and I'd stay again!"
