"Room was clean but whole floor smelt of cigarette smoke. It’s a shame because the rooms are letting down the hotel as the rest of the hotel is very nice and it could be a top spot to visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the grounds were stunning! Food was also great but more on the expensive side. I had the burger on the menu (£18) it did come with chips and was tasty! Good place to stay if you want a short stay but it could do with some TLC"

"No air-conditioning. (Just in case you need it.) A fan was supplied in the room and like the room could do with a good clean. Dresser glass top you could see the dust laying on top. Chair provided also had food remains, hair and dust from previous guests. Bed matress should have been retired many ,many guests ago. Springs digging in and undulating as lay.
Bathroom was comparatively clean but also like the rest of the room very tired in appearance. Car park can be a little cramped, and can make...

"The hotel was lovely, helpful staff and amazing breakfast.
Used the spa twice and in the relaxation room wet towels everywhere and empty cups . I felt that you pay for your relaxation time and it didn’t feel that way."

"The hotel part is at the back of the Pub so very quiet. The room and bed were very comfortable and clean. Nice to stay somewhere where the decor was different to the standard hotel. We stayed there two nights and all meals were very good and served really hot. It was also nice to have the choice of different options for breakfast.
The bar and restaurant are separate and really clean and nicely furnished. We have stayed in several hotels in this area during the past year and the Green Man is...
