"Rooms were nice and clean with a nice feel of new and old bits and pieces which we liked. Staff (Calum) family run hotel was lovely very helpful on any knowledge about Callander what to do and see and always had time for a blether. Breakfast was lovely and tasty both mornings, nothing was a problem and went that extra mile to make the stay a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. 3 Adults in adjoining rooms."

"We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Accommodation was very comfortable & clean. Shower was amazing. We had a room overlooking the river. Great choice at breakfast. Would definitely recommend having the full breakfast."

"Viel Platz im Zimmer. Aber Betten sehr schmal. Zimmer nicht gut gewartet (Duschhahn hatte Löcher und spritzt in alle Richtungen, Spiegel hängen schief, Fenster zwar funktionstüchtig aber nicht gut gepflegt usw.). Sehr hellhörige (dünne) Fenster, daher laut wegen dem Verkehr draußen (Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße). Lüftung im Bad hat nicht funktioniert. Licht im Bad hat nur teilweise funktioniert. Frühstück mit kaum Auswahl. Abendessen dort ja, aber kaum Auswahl."

"A step-back-in-time and off-the-beaten-path small hotel with all the quintessential character, charm, and quality service you could hope for. The cooked-to-order breakfast was included in our stay and very tasty. Comfortable bed and great shower. This place is truly memorable in every way."

"This was our second stay at Cromlix and unlike most sequels we were not disappointed! Beautiful surroundings, well appointed rooms, incredibly warm and welcoming staff and exceptional dining. We could not have asked for more. There’s nothing pretentious about Cromlix. It feels as though you are at home with family in a comfortable environment that allows you to be as busy or as relaxed as your mood takes you."

"Hotel is in the process of being refurbished and updated but we were not disturbed by the renovations. Our room had been updated and was lovely, clean and very comfortable. The restaurant, bar and reception had been updated and are stunning. Breakfast had an amazing selection of food including Scottish fare! Best choice we’ve ever seen! Our evening meals in the bar were delicious too. Highly recommend!"

"Great place to stay. We stayed in a Mongolian yurt, which was a unique experience, like glamping. The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. Overall, it's a great place for people who want to escape soulless hotel chains and create sweet memories."

"Ended up not being able to visit and they refused to refund any of the money, even though they had a weak notice that we were not going to be able to attend. Horrible people to deal with extremely rude. Do not recommend."

"It was really difficult to unlock and open the doors, the locks were loose and the door handles were coming off. When we arrived and went into the bathroom there was a roll of toilet paper with poop on it. I went out to the hall and was able to find an open closet with toilet paper, but that was really gross to come into a room and see that. The television in one of our rooms did not work. The toilet in the other room would not flush. There was two minutes of warm water in the shower before...

"This apartment was wonderful. Comfortable and clean. We easily got in and out. Such an amazing first experience. The staff was helpful and kind. The restaurant was delightful with amazing food!"
