"This has been my favourite find so far. The location is stunning, environment relaxing, the staff are fantastic. I have enjoyed many return visits to dine in the lovely restaurant and to stay. The children feel this is like a home from home and treat some of the staff like family."
"Fabulous refurb, stayed here about 12 years ago the transformation is absolutely lovely! Stayed in a standard room, which is on the small size but beautifully decorated with everything you need. Particularly liked the L'Occitane toiletries in the stylish bathrooms. The restaurant and casual areas are very stylish, the food, atmosphere and staff were great, and Aberlady is just an adorable quiet location on the doorstep of 22 golf courses, beaches and fabulous walks. It was almost three times cheaper than other options further out of Edinburgh
The room was small but clean and bed comfortable

Hair dryer provided and shower small again but clean and modern

"The receptionists and other workers were very welcoming and professional and helpful and accomodating.I dont like the rule of the hotel about you cant bring outside food(cooked) like pizza and food in box etc., into your room.That is the worse rule you can have at a hotel without a proper explanation that makes sense.Was told guests complain about the smell.That cant be.Because if a restaurant is on property,how does that explanation make sense.If one is worried about rats and cockroaches...
"My hotel room was nice and clean, and the host Erol was very attentive and helpful, and made sure I had everything I need. It was really useful having a microwave in my room - saved me a lot of money on breakfast!
It's only about 25-30mins drive from Edinburgh but a lot cheaper than similar hotels in the city."
"Contactless. No front desk which was fine by me. Room was great. Quiet and modern. Seems like a haul to the heart of Edinburg but you are a block away from the tram and it only costs two pounds for a quick ride up the street. Coming home it's slightly downhill which is a nice way to work of your drinks! Also Malones pub is just around the corner.
