"We stayed in the Windsor suite with the jacuzzi outside and had a lovely stay. The staff were very polite and informative. The hotel is very scenic and has a view of the lake. The suite was very spacious and was very well equipped. The restaurant on site offered a wide variety of food to a very good standard. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely stay again."

"Always great easy walking to town centre. Local amenities. Stayed here a few times now. Only comment restaurant not open on a Monday evening and most local eateries are closed"

"Very nice traditional hotel, has a lot of character. The rooms are a tad dated but fit the atmosphere of the building. Really comfy beds and we had memory foam pillows on a big bed. It is also a restaurant but we didn't eat here, but it smells very nice. Would very much stay here again for the price"

"We had emailed the hotel three times before our arrival to book a table in the restaurant and received no reply. Upon arriving at the hotel we were told that the restaurant was fully booked and that we could eat in the bar until 9pm. Unfortunately this message was given to many other patrons and the bar was overflowing with people trying to find seats and order food. "Bit of a gamble as we’d never been before but was booked as a last minute weekend away without breaking the bank. Excellent communication post booking and a very warm welcome upon arrival from Julia on reception. Room was clean, bed extremely comfortable and a decent selection of emergency toiletries. Good parking. Relaxed breakfast with a variety of tasty choices. Would definitely stay again if in this area."
