"What shade of hell in the 21st century for £177 for single occupancy has not got a private toilet . Room tiny, no lighting by bedside so if you get up in dark have to go to front door to switch a light on. Bunk bed over the head of double bed makes it hot & claustophic . The shower room is a joke, a bathroom including a toilet on a ferry is considerably bigger that this coffin minus a toilet. Avoid at all cost"

"Stayed here whilst attending an exhibition at the NEC, located within 5 minutes from the NEC and train station and lots of parking spaces. Staff were so friendly and attentive and the room was lovely, spacious and very clean! Would 100% stay here again."

"Upon arrival, we had to pay £7 per day for parking, then the man who owned the hotel asked us which breakfast we were paying for until I explained that you had already booked us a continental breakfast within the cost of the room. The dining room was dark, dingy and very outdated and dirty with cobwebs everywhere. I got to my room and couldn't open the windows as there were smelly wheely bins outside of the window. The room was the smallest one in the hotel, it wasn't clean, the skirting boards...

"The check in was chaotic, I.e. no room number or lockbox instruction until after check in time, then no key in the lockbox and no telephone number to call to discover what to do next. "

"A clean, well kept hotel with wonderfully helpful staff. Lovely food, fabulous drinks. Well situated for events at the NEC and beyond if you don’t mind a taxi or train ride. Fabulous if you want a bit of luxury. Does have underground parking that is more secure than some of the other hotels in the area and around the same price."

"Lovely host, very helpful & pleasant, parking directly outside our room which was a good size & very clean. Lovely surroundings with horses in the stables to say hello to. Great directions for walking to our concert at bp pulse about 15 mins away. The breakfast was very nice & served very quickly. Would definitely stay again & highly recommend."

"Enjoyed the amenities and great location 5 min walk to NEC. But had the worse couple of nights there due to noise. First night was what can only be described as a heard of elephants trying to jump into our room, very creaky floorboards and can hear everything through walls. Second night there was a party going on directly below us in the basement… complained about the noise after 10pm sounded like we were sleeping next to the DJ box , thumping music when trying to sleep as up early. Hotel did...
