"I would never recommend this place to anyone. The staff don’t return emails answer phones or return phone calls. Check-in ends at 9 PM and if you aren’t there you can’t get into your room. I’ve travelled the world and never in my life had such bad customer service. The Travelodge however has excellent staff clean rooms and comfortable beds. At nearly half the price is an exceptionally better value."

The receptionist said unfortunately this wasn’t possible despite letting other people to do so and would let us know as soon as a room was available (no one contacted us at all). They offered to hold our bags but we later just found it unattended in the reception area. "The spa and pool was love, we realkt enjoyed it, but we had no kettle in our room we walked to reception and asked for one, I offered to collect it and take it back but they saud no a member of staff will bring it , we never received it, so couldn't have any drinks in our room, room was clean but dated , but on the whole we enjoyed it, breakfast was great"

"We chose this hotel because it advertised a swimming pool and thought it would be a nice treat for my son and me. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. At check-in, we were kindly offered a complimentary room upgrade, which we appreciated. Sadly, the upgraded room felt more like a downgrade. There was no toilet paper, no iron, the toilet roll holder was broken. Although reception brought toilet paper and an iron when requested, no one was able to repair the broken toilet...

"This hotel really did represent value for money on a weekend where the city was busy due to a famous comedian performing. The hotel is central and only a five minute walk from the train station. Staff helpful, communal spaces lovely for a drink in the evening. Room was roomy shower powerful with lovely toiletries provided - only one bath towel provided for 2 of us but that will have been an oversight and guess what we coped.
