Geoff was an amazing host. So welcoming and friendly. Knowledgeable about the area and further afield. The food was lovely ate both nights of our stay as food was very tasty and the deserts were awesome. Breakfast was good with a variety on offer. The Owner Geoff is Fantastic, Tried his freshly cooked food it's excellent and he uses local produce. Pippa the assistant couldn't do enough to help us, great local knowledge,pleasure to chat with. The only downside for myself and the wife was we thought we had booked a room with a bath, one of the reasons we selected this hotel, but unfortunately,it's only the family room that has the bath not the double, We would definitely stay here in the future and book the family room We had a Cozy sleep, Not much traffic noise, we gave the cooked breakfast 5* for value and quality of local ingredients.

Lovely stay.

Stayed overnight prior to a day at the East Somerset Railway 10 minutes away. Jeff welcomed us on arrival , and showed us to our room. Room was compact, but very comfortable, en suite, tea and coffee , tv and hairdryer in room , and very comfy bed. Had a nice meal in the evening, served by a very friendly lady ( sorry we didn’t catch her name) , in the cosy dining room. We pre-ordered breakfast, which was lovely and set us up for the day. All in all this was s great stay, with friendly hosts and great value. We would thoroughly recommend the Pecking Mill Inn.

Lovely old coaching inn. Room comfortable, a little tired in places but clean, was suitable for a base to visit the surrounding area. Geoff seems to be everywhere ( he's a workhorse and a lovely host)

Cottage style accommodation, pub and restaurant. Excellent landlord, friendly and nothing too much trouble. Food and resteraunt were very good. Enjoyed my stay. Busy Road at the front so would prefer rear of property accommodation if I Visit again.

Great stay

This place is a little gem that I will definitely stay at again, full of character, with a warm and friendly host with impeccable customer service. Ideal if you are working or attending an event at Royal Bath & West Showground a mile away. Comfortable and clean rooms, plenty of free parking, free Wi-Fi and as an extra the Inn also does evening meals.
