Excellent place to stay. The whole property was immaculate. Very nice breakfast cooked to order. Very friendly couple running the B&B, particularly Lucy who was 'front of house' for breakfast.

Warm welcome and lovely breakfast

I had a lovely warm welcome from Lucy and delicious breakfasts from John (perfect poached eggs!) at their beautifully-presented house less than 5min walk from the North Norfolk Railway, public transport links (bus and train) and lots of other amenities. Room 7 is classed as a basic double, and while it’s quite a compact room up in the eaves (ideal for single occupancy and maybe not for the very tall) it makes great use of space and is very comfortable as well as spotlessly clean, with some of those little touches that often get annoyingly missed out - somewhere to put your things in the shower, adequately-sized bath towels, and a really good electric fan. I will definitely stay at Holway House again if I’m visiting the area, and some of the other guests I coincided with were repeat visitors as well.

A lovely stay in Sheringham at Holway House. Beautiful room. Ideally situated for leisurely stroll into town. Lucy the owner very friendly, and John cooked the best breakfasts. Would highly recommend

We had enjoyed our stay at Holway House. John and Lucy couldn't do enough for us. Room was spotless all shampoo conditioner and soap provided. Tea and coffee was a good brand name. No corners were cut. They are doing a great job restoring this Edwardian building to its former glory. Breakfast was local produce and well cooked. Hotel is well placed for visiting the town and also for local beach. With in easy reach of all visitor attractions.

The property is a bed and breakfast house. It is close to Sheringham centre. It is a cheaper option than a main hotel, all of which seem to be much further away. It has a single room option, which many hotels don't now have. Each room is clean and has a tv, en-suite toilet and shower. The owners are pleasant, amenable people. They seem to have loyal guests who return time and again. Although it is an old building it is contemporarily decorated. It has a small private parking facility and adjacent street parking. The main road at the front can be a bit busy and noisy but closing a modern, double-glazed window eliminates any annoyance.

Excellent B&B

At each stage of my stay this B&B exceeded my hopes for a restful holiday. The welcome, breakfast, the single room, parking, friendliness, comfort & cleanliness. Cannot thank the proprietors enough for the best B&B I have stayed in for a very long time. Great location to discover many Norfolk coastal towns. Easy access to buses and trains. Delightful high street down to Sheringham seafront. Highly recommend this B&B. I'll be going again for sure.

I can not say enough good things about this place. Not only were the rooms clean, tidy and very comfortable, the owners, Lucy and John were absolutely amazing! We were due to check in at 3 but we got there almost 3 hours earlier than expected, they allowed us to go ahead and check in to our room, no questions asked! Lucy went above and beyond for us. She recommended places to eat and explore, and welcomed us completely. We were needing a cab to the airport on a sunday (everything basically shuts down on a Sunday)not only did she help us to call but she arranged it as well. If you're looking for a b&b in Sheringham, I would definitely look to book with them, you will not regret it. ☺️☺️
