Det Imperiska Palatset ligger inom promenadavstånd (ca 25 minuter) liksom Filosofens väg (om man är beredd att gå lite längre, kanske 45 minuter). Frukosten var väldigt god och restaurangen i sig var mysig. Rummen var mycket välskötta och trevliga. Personalen var alltid mycket hjälpsam och vänlig! "We really enjoyed our five night stay at The Gate Hotel Kyoto. The check in staff were very efficient and friendly, especially given there was a large group checking in at the same time. At first, I thought our room was a bit basic, but it was actually very nice. We were on the seventh floor with a beautiful view of the mountains. It was so nice to wake up to this each morning.
