"Great hotel with lots of activities for the kids. Gym was huge with lots of equipment and classes. We had a family suite which was huge with separate bedrooms for kids and adults. Only small let downs were the shower pressure being terrible, hotel was super hot even though it wasn’t a warm day, but the did provide us with fans. Breakfast had a great selection but gluten free options ran out quickly and weren’t replaced."

"Really nice place to stay, I'd come back for a short stay again. The full English breakfast was good, my friend thought that his pancakes were under done, the scrambled eggs were out of a packet & watery. The bar was well stocked with a reasonable selection of beers. The only downside was that they don't serve food after 1600 on a Sunday. "

"Pleasant stay. Clean room. A not too loud alarm did disturb our sleep a little but it must have been nothing untoward? - fire regulations said to wait in bedroom until otherwise advised... fortunately no such advice was forthcoming!"

"The thermostat to the radiators didn’t work so we couldn’t turn the temperature down and were therefore uncomfortably hot and got limited sleep. The mattress added to the lack of sleep as it was very uncomfortable. The door to our room you could close from the inside with a hard shove but you couldn’t close from the outside so we couldn’t leave anything valuable in the room. "Good value stay. Room was clean, tidy and had everything needed. Parking was also very easy on the street outside."

"Superb property. The room we had was massive. Very large sleigh bed. Raised platform with a double ended bath in the bedroom. Beautiful oak flooring on the platform and really nice thick carpet in the bedroom. The en suite had a large walk in shower and was all new and clean feeling. The grounds were lovely. Nice walk round, rope swing obviously designed for brides and grooms. Sheep in the field next door. Staff friendly. Classly and well kept. Can highly recommend."

"Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach.
