Walking distance to both train stations and has bus stop in front of the hostel. Has hot water, coffee & tea supplies & clear instructions on cooking ramen by microwave oven. Could be better if there is a pantry for simple cooking with an individual sink. Will return to this hostel when revisiting Mt. Fuji area again "

"This property was a little dated compared to some of the others we have stayed at. However, it was very clean and the customer service was top notch. The view of Mt. Fuji from the back of the hotel is breathtaking. The onsen was quite peaceful and relaxing with a mix of hotel guests and locals from the public. "Front desk staff speak good English. Room is clean and comfy. Most of us stayed at the basic standard Japanese style room and the huge Mt. Fuji is right behind the window. Huge carpark right across the street. I particularly want to give compliments to a front desk lady named 花梨（a taiwanese pretty lady). I lost my key for my luggage case. 花梨 proactively approached more than one local key man to help me opened the luggage case, which finally saved it from being forced opened and damaged. "

"Great view on Mt Fuji from every room and the meals were very good. There are 2 different menus available for dinner, kaiseki or shabu-shabu. Breakfast was always the same buffet but many different choices. Our problem was the room temperature can't be adjusted other than leaving the exterior door open and the duvet was very heavy with no top sheet."

"This turned out to be more of a business hotel, and a bit out of the way. Kawaguchiko in general is not high density and there were not too many options in the direct vicinity of the hotel. A bit over a kilometre from the train station, and about 700 meters to the convenience store and shopping centre. The room was nice and spacious, if somewhat dated, but very comfortable. Absolutely loved the optional breakfast, a traditional Japanese set that was mind blowing, priced at only ¥600, do not miss...
