"Hotel building is on the older side. But amenities, garden grounds, food, location , facilities, hospitality is TOP NOTCH! My best stay during our Japan trip."

"Good location nice"

"If you are visiting Japan and want to step away from the city life for nature, then HOSHINOYA Fuji is a perfect spot. We glamped for a few days in September, and though Mt. Fuji did not make an appearance, the experience made up for it in full. There are so many activities to participate in, we cut wood, did breath work, made pizza, and enjoyed their amazing menu for all meals. It is a must stay if you come to Japan."

"We had a great stay! The rooms had a beautiful traditional Japanese vibe, and we got to see Mount Fuji so clearly. It was such a nice experience and made our trip even more special. Would definitely recommend!"

"Great service, really nice room. Strong amenities."

"I liked that it provided free shuttle to the hotel from the bus/train station. The room was clean and staff were kind. They allowed us to hold our luggage at the lobby free of charge after check out so we can explore the area a bit more before heading out. They provided free coffee/drinks and late night snacks for their guests. The hot tub on the balcony overlooking mount fuji was beautiful! They had private onsen, but it didn’t look so clean and sanitary inside, so we just stayed at our balcony...

"This was a great and amazing stay , wish was here more than the one day. Had a traditional Japanese room with tamhimi mats and tea set The Public Onsen is awesome they switch the male and female sides. Views of Mt Fuji and TATTOO friendly. STAFF is what makes this place great, made sure was able to make it to train station out and super friendly/helpful. Decent gift shop on-site . Would love to come again when in Fuji area"

"The kaiseki dinner in the private dining room was excellent and the hostess was a very kind. The breakfast was excellent too. But the hotel caters to large groups and children. The rooms have zero sound insulation so children running around or other upstairs guests moving furniture until midnight is very disruptive. Breakfast was served in the large group room , again with a lot of noisy children. While there were both women’s and men’s sides onsens (baths), the quality are not at all similar....

"Our stay at Konansou was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of our trip to Japan! The accommodations were beautiful, the traditional Japanese baths were fantastic, and the views of Mt. Fuji were breathtaking. The food was truly next level. Every course was beautifully presented, creative, and delicious. It was honestly one of the most exciting and memorable dining experiences I've ever had! What really made the stay exceptional was the staff. Everyone was incredibly attentive,...

"Good room, nice 1/2 tub. One small pillow and one half a small pillow on bed. Asked for more, no issue. Cubicle style bathroom, large step up to enter it, did smell musty. Way out from downtown , like 25 mins to train station."
