"Busy village pub, very old so lots of low beams (banged my head going up the stairs; no signage, so that could be improved), friendly service, good beer, very good food, generous portions and excellent value for money. Excellent choice if you are in need of a room in the Cotswolds at a sensible price "

"Pleasantly surprised at how lovely this place is. Very authentic British Inn. Indian food on the menu was amazing. Pub was awesome. The room was great. Bed was very comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Love the old building refurbished with modern amenities. This is a hidden gem. You should stay and eat here!!!! "

"Excellent location to enjoy the Cotswolds away from the tourist crowds. On the downside, the washroom is not perfect, but these are properly designed only in some large chain or high end luxury hotels. Highly recommended overall. "

"We stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends in the area. We booked a twin room. The room was very small but clean with a lovely en-suite shower room attached. the beds were very comfortable. We arrived early so while we waited for our room to be ready we ordered a BLT double toasted sandwich which we both shared, it was delicious. There was plenty of parking in the car park outside.
