"Good stay, good breakfast, lots of parking"

"The room was good and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good too. The only negative is that check out is at 10:30, and they wanted 20 pounds to extend it to 12."

"It was a clean, comfortable, and very quiet room - with highly effective air conditioning, which was a god-send during recent extreme hot weather!"

"The room was very clean and comfortable. However there was no remote for the tv and the telephone did not connect to reception. The staff provided us with a remote that did not work so that involved another walk back to reception. A very pleasant member of staff came back with me and ensured a further remote worked. Later on the tv. pixilated and did not work probably due to loose connection which we couldn't fix. Breakfast was very comprehensive and well done."

"Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good except for putting green leaf over everything! Should be optional. Room was clean, but could have topped up teabags every day, and only had biscuits on the first day."

"Lovely clean room, included fridge, ironing board, iron as well as the usual things you'd expect like tea/coffee facilities, desk, TV, toiletries, hair dryer. Comfy bed. I'd recommend to stay here but if you're a light sleeper you may need ear plugs as occasional traffic can be heard. Excellent breakfast choice, cooked breakfast made fresh to order. Would definitely stay here again "

"An old coaching inn with a history of highwaymen this was a good stay for us for two nights. We had a family room with two bedrooms and shared bathroom, each with its own double bed and television. The bathroom had a nice walk-in shower. The Hotel also provided fans in the room as there was no air-conditioning. Breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold. The restaurant was busy and we managed to book at the last minute. Location was handy for a number of local attractions within 30...

"We stayed one week in the Cottswald, and this was by far the nicest place we stayed. It was truly a resort experience. The grounds were gorgeous, and there were many indoor and outdoor seating areas including 3 posh lounges with different vibes. Reading, games and music/relaxing. Upscale Aromatherapy diffusers by each bedside! Dinner was best meal of our lives, and a lovely breakfast was included. The smart tv worked perfectly, and the staff was incredibly helpful. "Nice location. Great amenities. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious but the air conditioning unit was absolutely useless. It was a very warm night and the air conditioner just did not make any difference. So did not sleep very well. The rooms are not very sound proofed so you hear every door slamming shut. The breakfast was extensive and very good with staff on hand to refill as needed."

"Great location and the room was really nice. We stayed in a heatwave and there was just a fan in the room and no aircon, so sleeping was a real problem. Wi-fi in the room wouldn't connect. Definitely go back when it's a bit cooler!"
