Dear Sir, I have read your review. Here at Navutu we are fortunate enough to meet a wide variety of guests from all parts of the world and from all walks of life. The majority of these guests are an absolute pleasure to welcome to our resort. Similarly, the majority of reviews that we receive ( especially on Expedia ) are very complimentary of our establishment and service. I am sorry that you left us disenchanted and disillusioned. Suffice to say that we will never please everyone and once in a while you come across guests who simply demand the unreasonable and act in a manner that is neither friendly, nor very pleasant. Although we try our best, they demean hospitality staff and see them as subservient whereas our task is to be of service, not servile. Such guests will never be pleased as their attitude is miserable right from the moment they arrive. I am very not sure about what you mean by "the property is old and tired, like the facilities" and "staff unprepared and of little help", it contrasts with 99% of the other reviews mentioning our gardens, pools, rooms and service as top notch. I have personally check into your reservation history. We have been asking you many times to confirm your yoga schedule, you never confirmed nor reply. Said that, it literally took us 1 minute to book everything on your arrival when we met you. We can accept any complaint as long as it is real but I can certainly not accept something caricaturist like your review. You compare us to many resorts in town and if you wish to make comparisons to that brand you are certainly at liberty to do so. Navutu Dreams however has its own unique DNA and character; you either like it or you don't. All in all, I am pleased you enjoyed your yoga with Sonia, she is one our stars at Navutu. Dear Julia, I wish you had mentioned the date of your stay. I have been asking to our staff if any accident happened recently at the pool and no one remembered of this kind of issue. It is remarkably different to the majority of the reviews we receive but this will certainly be looked at and properly addressed. Regarding your room, I can't personally reply since I have not the booking details. I regret that it was not all in all a pleasurable stay for you but all in all we hope you enjoyed the destination.
