"This is definitely a 3 star resort. Nothing about it gives 5 star so please don’t expect it! The staff were sweet and helpful but I’ll tell you to stay here if you would like average over priced American food 😒, WiFi going out every day, an unclean out dated pool, and hard mango’s for a $10 🙄. "We enjoyed Sangregado Lodge. Upon arrival, we were greeted and offered fresh coconut water, which was a nice touch. The highlight of this lodge is the spectacular view of the Arenal valley. The lodge had very few to no amenities but its location high up in the mountain made it feel more remote and less touristy than the resorts on the main La Fortuna road. "We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The grounds were spectacular, lush, and beautifully maintained, making it a pleasure to explore. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot springs, the delicious breakfast each morning, and watching the beautiful birds visit the feeders.
