"Clean and in good location"

"We were in town for an event at a different location and didn't spend much time at the hotel. The property was nice enough and I would stay there again due to it's central location downtown, although this is the first hotel I have ever stayed at which charged an early check-in fee for an afternoon check-in. Keep this in mind if you plan on checking in before about 3PM."

"I did not feel safe staying here. The room smelled like stale cigarettes. There was not much left of a lumpy mattress. The walls were so thin I didn’t get much sleep. A homeless guy in a wheelchair was right outside my door when I left one time."

"My husband booked this hotel because he thought it was cool that it was an older building and the rooms were only in the 2nd and 3rd floor above a bar & restaurant. The room looked cute- modern decor in an old building. I’m not a neat freak but I do inspect the room. We hadn’t touched the bed and right there under the decor pillow lay two long stands of hair that was clearly not either of ours. Yuck. In the shower, I found several pieces of hair. "Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Gym was well equipped. We enjoyed our stay!"

"The rooms we got were in rough shape. One of the couch that turned into bed the mattress was horrible on it . You couldn’t even lay on it."

"The Element is a great hotel for Reno. Their breakfast was amazing! The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The bar was fabulous as well. The hotel does a lot of little things for the guests which was appreciated such as a happy hour, water and coffee available anytime. The only draw back is the hotel is located on a busy street so it can be loud in the evening."

"Just awful. The staff was friendly, but overloaded. Sheets were gross and had cigarette burns. The room smelt terrible."

"I would have never picked this hotel if it wasn’t for our volleyball team. The hotel has very poor ventilation so it smells like smoke everywhere. Rooms are very outdated even in the newer tower. Floors in the bathroom and carpet in the room very dirty. Hair on the floor and shower. Stains on the carpet. Several times our key didn’t work even after going to the customer service and getting a new card. Overall a solid 2stars."
