"The hotel is pretty dated, so I'm saying this with the understanding normal wear and tear of a property. I am also an Architect, so can see beyond the surface of things and understand what it takes to bring an older building up to modern amenity standards for hospitality. I can take less than perfect conditions but when I went to use the bathroom I noticed a brown substance on the door jamb - certainly had all the appearances of what one would naturally assume it was. Additionally, there was a ton of hair wrapped around the tub stopper. We were there for a competition and there was nowhere else to stay - otherwise I would have found a different hotel. That being said - the staff was great and friendly."

"The manager, she was wonderful! They didn’t have a room for us after I had a reservation, booked weeks ago . 3 other families were there without rooms at the same time as we were and had reservations. The place was a dump! Mold etc. The male employee behind the desk was rude. Simply stated they didn’t have any rooms and the ones that were empty in his exact words, “had bugs”. The lady manager was incredible! She only started the week prior and was trying to help everyone. She was clearly overwhelmed and things were out of her control but she was the only one trying to help Beware of this hotel!"

"Do not stay here. Absolute scam. I am a nurse and mother of five. I traveled from home to Woodsprings in 2.5 hours in traffic and 85 degree weather…. In a broken car AC. When I finally arrived at 8:30PM the woman behind the counter said “your room isn’t ready yet.” She then told me the TV and the AC in my room did not work!! I have a twelve hour day at a new hospital tomorrow. I am hot. I am beyond exhausted. I start to cry. “Well since I am not getting what I paid for or reserved is there a discounted rate or something?” She replied that she couldn’t do that, I asked for manager or someone who can. She said he comes in in the morning and she will make sure he knew what happened, she said she also put a note right in my account/reservation. No fan or how to get one was offered. In the morning no one was at the front desk. I left a note again asking for management to call me. I had my phone on me all day. No contact. When I got back I stopped at the front desk because my key card didn’t work. I figured maybe they secured me a room with a TV and AC so now this key is invalid! Nope. Even though this is was I was told by the female employee the night prior that “We have when someone checks out tomorrow, and I know we have checkouts, someone will move you to that room after cleaning.” Except none of this happened and they still charged me full price !!!! NO ONE EVER CALLED ME!!!! I am a travel nurse and they lost my 3 months worth of planned stays after this. 😡"
