Where to stay in Singapore

Marina Bay
Marina Bay dazzles visitors with its futuristic skyline anchored by the iconic boat-shaped Marina Bay Sands hotel. The area combines world-class entertainment with spectacular waterfront views. Travellers can explore the enchanting Gardens by the Bay with its illuminated Supertrees or visit the lotus-inspired ArtScience Museum. Luxury shopping and celebrity chef restaurants dominate this upscale district. Three metro stations provide easy access to this architectural wonderland. The Singapore Flyer observation wheel offers breathtaking panoramic views of the bay's glass towers reflecting in calm waters below.

Clarke Quay
Clarke Quay transforms Singapore's historic waterfront into a vibrant entertainment hub. Colourful restored shophouses line the Singapore River, now filled with lively restaurants and rooftop bars. At night, the district pulses with energy as clubs and lounges attract both tourists and locals. Visitors can explore the area's trading past through preserved 19th-century architecture. Take a scenic boat tour along the river or shop at Clarke Quay Central. Two MRT stations make getting around easy, with Universal Studios and Marina Bay just a short ride away.

Chinatown
Singapore's Chinatown pulses with Chinese heritage, where red-lacquered temples stand proudly alongside colourful shophouses. Incense smoke drifts from Buddha Tooth Relic Temple while traditional medicine halls display dried seahorses and ginseng. The vibrant Chinatown Complex buzzes with hawker stalls selling authentic dim sum and Hainanese chicken rice. Wander through narrow streets lined with jade jewellery shops and silk goods vendors. Cultural enthusiasts will appreciate the Chinatown Heritage Center's immigrant stories told through artefacts. Three MRT stations make exploring easy, connecting visitors to Marina Bay Sands and Universal Studios Singapore.

Little India
Step into Singapore's Little India where colourful shophouses and aromatic spices create an authentic South Asian atmosphere. The historic district buzzes with activity around Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple's ornate towers and busy market stalls. Wandering these vibrant streets feels like travelling to another continent without leaving Singapore. Explore Mustafa Centre's 24-hour shopping paradise or sample delicious curries at Tekka Centre's hawker stalls. The area showcases traditional textiles, gold jewellery, and cultural treasures at every turn. Little India Station provides easy connections to Singapore's other attractions.

Sentosa Island
Enjoy the stunning beaches in Sentosa Island. Universal Studios Singapore is a worthwhile stop, and you can jump on the metro at Resorts World Station or Imbiah Station to see more of Singapore.

Top Singapore Hotel Reviews
Hotel Boss
"The rooms are too small and the bed are hard"
Marina Bay Sands
"It’s still better than ever"
The Fullerton Hotel Singapore
"Excellent hotel in a fabulous location. Excellent breakfast. Only downside is that it doesn’t have a normal hotel bar - just a whiskey bar - but its sister hotel (just a short walk away) has a great rooftop bar which can be used. Highly recommended."
Grand Park City Hall
"Location was convenient, a walking distance to the convention center, nearby Raffles, and to the downtown core. I had an upgrade with expedia vip. It took some unduly long hours time to settle in the room, but it was done finally. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety and selection. The proffessionality and helpfullnes of the staff during breakfast time was notable in all 5 days I had the pleasure to have it there. This is mentioned bearing in mind the large number and variety of hotel guests espicially on Sunday morning, not a single drop in the courteousness of staff service. I have to make a special mention and thanks to Iwan Husaini. He was at the concierge desk in the first evening of arrival, and I wanted some guidance to Singapore street food. He gave a clear brief non-imposing information to its various places from Lau Pa Sat to Boat quay, and mentioned, both I was looking for, but he added other mindfull suggestions for the area as well. I mention this as his suggestions remained in mind and helpful till the last evening in Singapre. When he knew I was about to move around with plastic money, he recommneded that I should have some amount of cash, and went out of the hotel to look for an open money changer for me. I had the good chance of Iwan being at the front desk when I was checking out, with the same helpful corteous attitude. A good example, which probably includes many of the staff actually. Will happily stay there in a next visit to SIngapore,"
